Cavalryman's Spanish Campaign medal
Excellent overall condition planchet, reribboned on older stock ribbon with wrap broach.
Rim numbered No. 5869 and attributed to Robert Trickler of Sqdn C, NY NG Cavalry.
Ttooper Trickler in many ways is the stereotype cavalryman of the time.  A Swedish immigrant, he was in his 50's during WWI when he served with the 105th Machine Gun Battalion having been Cavalry for the 20 year prior.
