11th Airborne Division uniform, document and unique souvenier!

Great group from an enlisted man who's ribbon group includes invasion arrowhead and 3 campaign stars on his Pacific Campaign medal!
His excellent condition 38S all original Ike jacket features the ribbon rack, sterling pinback jump wing on unsewn oval, stripes, QM discs, and 11th Airborne Division shoulder patch and is laundry marked in the neck.
Included is his 1942 11th Airborne jump school certificate signed by Swing and laminated to protect it.
Last but not least... a coconut!
A 'real' coconut shell with an aircraft aluminium tag engraved to his mother in 1944 and the shell is engraved New Guinea 1944 and 11th Airborne Division with parachute and patch designs!

WWII Record, Russell E Walsche, Hartford, Connecticut
Born in 1914 and enlisting at the age of approximately 28 on December 14, 1942, Russell E Walsche entered service as a Private in the 408th Parachute QM Company of the 11th Airborne Division. At enlistment, Walsche was single, with dependents, stood 71 inches tall, weighed 160 pounds, and had an education level of 1 year of college.
