Posthumous Vietnam Marine group
Cpl. Clifford C. Blend, Jr. from Maryland, lost his life in Vietnam on Jan. 6, 1970 while serving with B Co. 3rd AMTRAC Bn, 1st Marine division.
His family estate passed to collector hands and I am pleased to offer to another historian Cpl. Blends awards and documents.
Note that after increasing losses in Vietnam, many USMC posthumous awards were issued unnamed.  Another Marine trait was the issuing of awards in shadow boxes!
This groups, just as given to his family, consists of his unnamed as issued awards in the shadow box.
Further included are numerous documents such as his posthumous Discharge, the original telegram to the family of his loss, letter from the Corps to the family regarding his loss, photo in uniform, newspaper clipping... all in fine shape.
Several other documents are included that tell more of Cpl. Blends military history, these are complete but show damage from age.

This papers show age and attic wear but tell his story.
