Nationalist Chinese Officer's Dagger
Wartime CBI vet's bringback with light surface age as shown on the blade and scabbard, will certainly clean up some. No sharpening or nicks.  The 'mock tortoise' shell and brass grip is fine. There are many variations to this dagger and I know of no publication or web source that covers them. This example is, I believe, early as it does not have provisions for a release clip between the scabbard and the crossguard. It features a dragon on the grip.  There is a small 'push' to the pommel and a couple very minor scabbard dings.
