Civil War Cooper Revolver
The Cooper was a six shot .31 caliber percussion revolver produced in limited numbers during the Civil War and this one is serial number 89! Barrel marked

This weapon is a local attic find and while the walnut grips are clean and undamaged and the brass is fine, the steel frame and cylinder show extensive corrosion and age. The trigger and hammer move freely but the cylinder will not complete rotation. Still a displayable example of a scarce revolver.
