Panzer Regt. 24 Officer's Blouse
Attractive, private purchase and all original Leutnants blouse from a decorated officer in the 24th Panzer Regiment. The 24th was allowed to retain its' original Cavalry yellow branch piping when it became a Panzer unit. Nicknamed the "Leaping Horsemen", the regiment was decimated at Stalingrad in December 1942 - January 1943. The uniform is unnamed but my mind cannot help but wonder if this excellent condition and early quality uniform was the pride of an officer who was lost his in Russia and never returned  to wear it.
