Excellent condition badge from the 1899 United Confederate Veterans Reunion held in Charleston, SC.
The Ninth National UCV Reunion, 10-13 May 1899 was held in Charleston, South Carolina.  An estimated 3,000-5,000 veterans attended and were warmly received by the city. Charleston's City Council built a convention hall for the Confederate reunion.
